    What pushes a quote up

Construction volumeThe bigger your yearly work, the bigger the bill.
ModulesProject management, financials and safety are sold separately.
RenewalRises of 5 to 14 percent a year are reported.
SetupTraining and data moves add to year one.
    TermMulti year contracts are common.

Your bill grows with your business

Procore charges a share of your construction volume, reported at roughly 0.1 to 0.2 percent of hard costs. So as you win more work, the software costs more, even with the same team. One builder doing about $55 million of work a year reported paying about $55,000.

Ask how volume is counted before you sign. Is it the value of every project, or only active ones? Is it set once a year, or checked mid contract? A clear rule protects you from a surprise bill in a big year.

    Why you have to ask

Like most software sold by a sales team, Procore keeps its pricing off the website. Every quote is custom, and the gap between a small deal and a large one is wide. We built the ranges here from reported deals so you have a number before the first call.

Pricing is per year, whole contract, so the main levers in the quote are the tier you pick and the setup fee, not the headcount.

How to judge the quote in your hand

    Ways to pay less

    Before you decide

Procore suits builders with many projects and many outside parties, such as owners, architects and subcontractors, who all need access. Unlimited users makes that easy. A small shop running a few jobs at a time may not use enough of it to justify the price.

Renewals are the other watch point. Rises of 10 to 14 percent are reported. Ask for a cap before you sign a multi year deal, and review which modules you actually used before each renewal.

One last point: ask for a free trial project. Setting up one real job before you sign shows how long your team takes to learn it, which can be 3 to 6 months.
