Check who you pay for as a power user
Agiloft prices by type of user. Power users, who build and change things, cost the most. Standard users and portal users, who send or look up contracts, cost much less. This helps big companies where thousands of people only make a request now and then.
The trap is paying for too many power users. VendorBenchmark found 27 percent of power users in big rollouts could move to a cheaper user type, and doing that before renewal cut costs by 12 to 18 percent. Also note that Agiloft's separate AI tool, Astra, does post prices, but that is not the contract platform.
Why quotes vary so much

- Pay yearly if the discount is real, not just a rounding of the monthly price.
- Start on the lowest tier and upgrade when you hit a wall.
- Ask for the setup fee to be waived or split over the year.
