How Much Does Workiz Cost in 2026? $187 to $325
Workiz costs about $229 per month for the base Standard plan in 2026, with reports ranging from $187 to $325 per month depending on the plan and how you pay.
What moves the price
- Which plan you pick. Workiz has used plan names such as Lite, Kickstart, Standard, Pro and Ultimate. Over 2025 and 2026 some of these names came and went. Lite was free for up to 2 users. Standard and Pro are the common paid choices, and Ultimate is quote only.
- Yearly or monthly billing. Billing yearly is cheaper. PricingSaaS shows Kickstart at $187 on yearly billing and $225 on monthly billing. One source says monthly billing runs about 17 percent higher. Another says yearly billing saves $400 or more.
- How many users you have. Plans cover a small starting group, and extra people cost more. ITQlick says $46 to $54 per extra user per month. PricingSaaS saw $55 for Standard and $65 for Pro on monthly billing. A crew of 10 costs a lot more than a crew of 3.
- Phone and texting add-ons. The phone system is sold apart from the plan. Fieldproxy says about $5 per number per month plus minute charges. PipelineOn says it runs roughly $100 per month. ITQlick says text overage is $0.01 per text.
- AI add-ons. Workiz sells Genius Answering, an AI that answers calls, and Genius Marketing. PipelineOn says Genius Answering is about $200 per month. It cites contractor reports of $79 to $149 per month for marketing. Neither number comes from Workiz.
- Card payment fees. Capterra reviewers mention a card payment fee that can be hard to turn off. PipelineOn estimates card fees at about 2.6 to 3.0 percent per card payment. Those fees come out of your jobs, not your software bill.
- Setup help. ITQlick says setup is free if you do it yourself and can run up to several thousand dollars for small businesses that want help. If you have a lot of old data, plan for more time or more money.
- Price changes. PricingSaaS tracked many changes in 2025 and 2026. Standard went up about 15.7 percent in 2025. The price you see today may not be the price in three months. Ask for the price in writing and ask how long it holds.
What is included
A note on where these numbers come from. These are third party estimates and buyer reports, not prices published by Workiz. Workiz does not currently list prices on its plans page, and a real quote can come back different from the numbers here.
What the money buys. Workiz is job management software for home service shops such as locksmiths, plumbers, HVAC and appliance repair. The base plans help you schedule jobs, send estimates, send invoices, and take online payments. The free Lite plan has been described as basic scheduling, invoicing and online payments for up to 2 users. Kickstart was described by PricingSaaS as including the first 3 users, 2 automations, and basic scheduling and invoicing. Standard and Pro add more tools and more room to grow. Ultimate, per PricingSaaS, is aimed at crews with many locations. Inventory and franchise tools have been linked to it.
What the plan price does not cover. Phone, texting, AI call answering and marketing tools are sold apart from the plan. The Carly blog confirms that Genius Phone, Genius Answering and Genius Marketing are sold separately. Extra users cost extra. Card processing fees are separate. Setup help can cost extra. PricingSaaS notes that Workiz added free 10DLC registration, which is a text message approval step, to its communication suite in 2026.
What buyers complain about. Some Capterra reviewers describe hidden fees and a card payment fee that is hard to remove. ITQlick also says some users report deceptive pricing and hidden fees. These are opinions from a few reviewers, not proof of a pattern. But they are a good reason to ask for every fee in writing.
What we could not confirm. Capterra shows all three plans as custom quote and billed per year, and it lists no price. We could not find a current posted Workiz price list. The plan tables on PipelineOn do not match the tables on ITQlick or PricingSaaS, so we did not use PipelineOn for base prices. We used it only for add-on estimates, and we call them estimates.
Who wrote the sources. Fieldproxy and Carly both sell products that compete with or sit next to Workiz. Use their numbers with care. ITQlick, PricingSaaS and Capterra are not field service software sellers, so we leaned on them most.
Ways to pay less
- Ask for yearly billing. Monthly billing can run about 17 percent higher, and one source says yearly billing saves $400 or more. If you know you will stay, yearly is the cheaper path. Ask what happens if you cancel early.
- Start on the smallest plan that fits. Lite is free for up to 2 users in sources from 2025. If you are a solo operator, check whether a free or low plan is still offered. Move up only when you need the tools.
- Count your users before the call. Extra users cost $46 to $65 each per month. Ask if office staff who only look at jobs need a full seat. Fewer seats means a smaller bill.
- Price the phone system by itself. Ask for the number fee, the per minute fee, and the text fee. Then compare with a separate phone service you may already use. Do not assume the add-on is the best value.
- Skip the AI add-ons at first. Genius Answering and Genius Marketing cost extra, and the numbers reported are $79 to $200 per month. Try the core software for 60 days, then decide if you need them.
- Ask about card fees in writing. Find out the rate for cards and for bank transfers, and whether you can turn the card fee off. Compare it with your current processor before you move your payments.
- Lock the price. Workiz has changed its prices many times. Ask for a written quote with an end date, and ask how much the price can rise at renewal. A rep may agree to hold your rate for a year.
- Use the trial and compare quotes. Fieldproxy says there is a 7 day trial with no card. Try it with real jobs. Then get quotes from two other tools. A rep who knows you are comparing may give you a better deal.
