Price per vial or price per plan?

Kybella is priced by the vial. One Utah practice says most first sessions use 2 vials, about $1,500 there. Healthline puts one treatment at $1,200 to $1,800. Because many people need more than one session, the full plan often costs several thousand dollars.

Ask the clinic how many vials and sessions they expect for you. Then multiply. That is your real budget.

    What Kybella does

Kybella is an injection that breaks down fat under the chin. Once the fat cells are gone, they do not come back, unless you gain a lot of weight. Swelling after each session is common and can last a few weeks.

    Kybella or CoolMini?

Both treat a double chin. CoolMini freezes the fat, and RealSelf patients report about $1,325 per treatment. See our CoolSculpting cost page. Your provider can say which suits your chin better.

Kybella was approved by the FDA in 2015 for fat under the chin. Ask your provider about side effects, and go to someone trained and experienced with it.

    Plan around swelling
